Let Our Work Do the Talking

We are a livestreaming company.

Highwire Digital can handle the full scope of any project and knows what it takes to produce a successful live web cast. We know how to deliver a product, market your event, and reach your target audience. If we need to add other experts to the team, we already work with some of the most talent folks in the industry and will surround your project with greatness!

The Mint 400 (It takes endurance and skill to bring home the world's biggest off-road race)

Role - Live Webcast Producer

Mad Media brought Highwire Digital in to break new ground for off-road racing live coverage. Using industry-leading, IP-based technology, angles never before seen were brought to glorious life. One of racing's most well-covered events suddenly featured high-speed heli-shots and long lens, ground-based tracking. And one of the best live-production teams in the game successfully captured off-road's wildest ride.

Would be hard to calculate all the moving parts on this one — live Aux Channel truck edit, IP-based coverage in the field, two RF-signals from heli, live hosts in the studio, roving behind-the-scenes reporter — all streaming live over a two-day race that spans hundreds of miles of desert terrain. The complications and potential for a train wreck were immense. It took all of our 20-plus years of media experience to land this one. But we love a challenge, Mad Media supported us throughout and together, we created something special.

Talent Connect San Francisco (Bringing live production to career social media community)

Role - Live Webcast Director

Highwire Digital had the privilege of working with Linkedin as the Live Webcast Director for Talent Connect San Francisco. Talent Connect is a transformational conference led by and designed for talent acquisition leaders and their teams. Keynote speakers included Father Gregory Boyle and Arianna Huffington from The Huffington Post. Thanks, Linkedin!

This was an intricate shoot involving many moving parts. Highwire designed and set up the live production, crewed the team implementing the show and kept everything on the rails including live audio/video/graphics, rolling pre-recorded spots and streaming to the web. It was a pleasure to work with such talented talent finders. They put on a great program and really understand the value of producing it all live. Kudos to Dan Swiney at Linkedin for putting this together!

Airbnb (Deliver a keynote to success by unlocking production secrets)

Role - Technical Director

This live webcast for Airbnb had all the creative, technical elements that got us into this style of production. Now known for an ability to source unique vacation rentals worldwide, Airbnb was looking to communicate in a way as fresh and relevant as their growing brand. When its founders had an important message to deliver to gracious hosts around the globe, they came to us to bring it to live. And the results were amazing!

Boom Box Productions, a leader in live events, brought in Highwire Digital to handle all engineering aspects of the video production and web encoding, along with the technical direction of the show. We appreciate their fastidious attention to detail. We rehearsed for two full days! And it all paid off in the end, yielding a production as truly unique as the clients. This is what can happen when you partner with talent, let creativity be your guide and reach for new possibility.

Condit Dam Removal (As seen on CNN)

Role - Executive Producer

The historic act to decommission ConditDam after almost 100 years of service set free the White Salmon River to return to its natural ecosystem. Using dynamite, 40,000 cubic feet of water and debris were let loose down a tight canyon that had not seen more than a trickle in over half a century. Upstream, the former hydro-electric dam's ouster revealed 1,000-foot canyon walls during the six-hour duration of its removal.

Due to the inherent danger associated with spectators present during the explosion that breached the dam, Highwire Digital was brought in by PacifiCorp Engineering to capture it live. Working with a PacifiCorp crew intent on safely documenting the process for posterity, we found the right angles, safely cabled the gear and were ready to stream when the fuse was lit. It was picked up on CNN and syndicated to a worldwide audience.

20th Annual Tampa Pro (To handle special event, it takes an extra-special production team)

Role - Producer

The World's best skateboarders descend annually upon Skatepark of Tampa for the longest-running, most sacred skateboarding event, The Tampa Pro! For the 20th Annual, presented by NikeSB, our friends at AUX Channel brought us in to produce a webcast that needed to raise the bar as much as the athletes do year after year. It was a blast working with such a talented crew and to be sure, both pros and fans remember this one.

Coverage is key to capturing skateboard competition. With deep knowledge of action sports, Highwire Digital was able to design a multi-camera setup and bring home the excitement of live skateboarding from drop in to roll out. We are skilled listeners who deliver solutions. And when trusted with a fan favorite like the Tampa Pro, we take serious pride in delivering every banger as if you were there cheering on the progression.
